⚡ Standby Generator Quote
Tell us about your property and what you'd like to keep powered during an outage. We'll spec the right unit and send you a quote — no obligation.
1 Your Information
Where the generator would be installed.
2 Property Type
3 What Do You Want to Back Up?
Check everything you'd want running during an outage. If you know a circuit's amperage, add it — it helps us size the unit, but it's not required. Add anything not listed with the button at the bottom.
4 Fuel & Gas
Most rural properties use propane. Not sure? No problem.
Design-Build-Live does not perform propane or natural gas line work. Fuel line installation, connection, and tank hookup must be handled by a licensed propane/gas contractor. We'll coordinate the generator install around it, but the gas work is separate. (required)
5 Electrical & Installation
A standby generator needs an automatic transfer switch (ATS) — a box about the size of a large breaker panel that mounts on the wall near your existing electrical panel. It switches your home over to generator power automatically when the grid goes down, and needs roughly 2–3 feet of open wall space next to your panel.
Older or full panels sometimes need replacement to add a generator.
